Holly Jackson - Model/Prop Maker

For this project i was asked to make a £1 sign in something to look like ice.

i started by carving out the shape in chemiwood and then sealing it with 2 pac and spraying it gloss so the mould wouldn't pick up any texture in the surface. 

I then made a mould and cast the shape with clear resin mixing in some white pigment to give it a non perfect ice feel. 

Onset i dressed it with a frosting spray to make it look like it was straight out of the freezer.
