Holly Jackson - Model/Prop Maker

There are 2 main characters in the UK Argos advert, Connie and Trevor. 

I was tasked with making a pre-made Connie doll (already available in their stores) movable.

To do this I made incisions in the backs of her knees, ankles, elbows and wrists and made a wire armature to go inside, meaning all of her joints were movable for the camera and would stay in position.

I was then asked to go on set and position and dress the characters.

I was also in charge of making accessories for the characters which closely resembled items available in their collection.
