Helga Stentzel art
Helga Stenzel is a fairly new but highly popular artist who makes a lot of her art using things around the house.
I have had the privaledge of working on a few projects for Helga over the years including a loaf of bread toaster, bananas with pugs on the end, sweetcorn with hidden lego heads and banana birds.
The loaf of bread toaster was made by cutting out the shapes for the toast out of a real loaf and moulding and casting it with fast cast resin. I did the same for the toast and then airbrushed all the colour into them.
I also used similar techniques for the other projects as using the real food makes it look so much more realistic.
