Kingsman 2 - the golden circle

At the begining of this project we were given thousands of glass viles which we then individually had to lable fill with an oil and apple juice mixture, cap, place in a rack then place in a box.

we used an oil in the viles to prevent mould from growing on the surface of the apple juice.

When capping the viles we used golden studs which we secured using drops of superglue.

This job was tricky because we had such a small time frame in order to finish them before they were needed on set but they were very delicate so you had to be soft but swift.

I was given the opportunity to work on set for the scene when these glass viles would be used. In between takes i had to move them around the set making sure all of the lables were facing the right way and fixing any that may have broke during transit.

I was tasked with fitting the interior of the 8 variations of taxis used on set. The interior of the black cabs was designed to look like that of a classic English jaguar. Therefore it had to be clean and smart looking.

The panels around the door was made to look like varnished walnut but was in fact made of a fibreglass shell. The seats were upholstered with a brown leather and the floor and ceiling was a cream suede like material. Along with this luxurious surface there was also a lot of buttons and gadgets fixed into the panelling to give it that 007 feel.

For some of the taxis we were able to create minimalist interiors as they would not be seen so much. For these we used a quick paint effect using a piece of crumpled fabric to print the panels with walnut colours.

I rewired the windows to a more suitable button for the theme.

I was also on set for this scene to be on call if anything broke or would need replacing.
