Making the Lips

To make the lips I was given a silicon mould to cast from. I used fast cast resin to cast the lips. The corners of the casts were very brittle so I had to be extra careful when pulling the cast out of the silicon.

Once the lips had been pulled out of the mould I used a scalpel and sand paper to clean up the lips Making sure not to break the delicate edges. I started by using a very coarse sandpaper and then gradually increased the gradient to give it a soft smooth finish.

Once I had a few finished lips I attached them to sticks where I then primed them with white primer. Once the primer had dried I then used a spray gun to spray the lips a pale glossy pink.
