For this project we got assigned a door that we had to find, measure the door and take pictures of. We then had to use these pictures to calculate the size of all the detailed parts of the door including the post box/door knob etc.

I then used these measurements to draw up a 1:100 scale drawing of the door. I then used the drawing to recreate the door with as much accuracy as possible using a mixture of acrylic and styrene.

This project is useful to get the technique of measuring, scaling and recreating small accurate pieces of deatail.
